Cat’s
special itinerary
Day 1 Nairobi
Met upon arrival by wild sounds adventures staff then transfer to
city hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2 ol pejeta game sanctuary
After breakfast drive north to ol pejeta sanctuary which is on the
foot hill of mt Kenya and located right on the equator, arrive time
for lunch afternoon safari to chimpanzee sanctuary and then into
the plains for the cats; lions,
cheetahs, and leopards. Other animals found in this place
include; the three species of rhinos,
black, southern white and rarest northern white rhino. Other plain
game includes; reticulated giraffes, grevy zebra, Jackson hartebeest
and beisa Oryx.
2 nights at sweet waters camp, on full
board.
Day 3 ol pejeta game sanctuary
Early wake cup call quick cup of tea/ coffee then out looking for
the cats, back for breakfast at the camp then out again looking
for cats that are active at mid morning. Back for lunch and then
short evening safari. After dinner we will go night safari in such
for nocturnal animals; aardvark,
African civet, porcupines and mongoose
Overnight stay at the camp
Day 4 Lake Nakuru national park
After breakfast drive to Lake Nakuru national park; home to over
two million flamingos and a good number of cats;
lions and leopards, it is also a good place to see the
black and white rhinos, Arrive time for lunch in our private
accommodation. 2 nights at Naishi guest house
Day 5 Lake Nakuru np
Early morning drive to the park and then back for break before we
go out again at mid morning for a safari on the shores of these
shallow alkaline lake; mid morning is the best time to watch flamingos
because they will be busy feeding and washing off salt from their
feathers if we will be lucky we might see hyenas going after the
flamingos, Over night at the guest house.
Day 6 Masai Mara
Drive to Masai Mara; worlds most visited game sanctuary because
of the large numbers animals, the annual migration of wildebeest
and zebras, elephant, buffalos and giraffes. There are also big
pride of lions several cheetahs and couple of leopards.
3 nights stay the camp on full board.
Day 7 Masai Mara
Early morning safari into cats preferred territory away from other
ordinary tours, back for breakfast and then out again at mid morning,
overnight at the camp.
Day 8 Masai Mara
Depart the camp at 06.00am with picnic breakfast to musiara swamp
looking for the marsh pride a pride, this pride of lions have established
this marsh area as permanent territory decades. Lunch will be at
governor’s camp, after lunch we will drive to Mara River for
large groups of hippos and giant crocs. Over
night stay at the camp.
Day 9 Nairobi
After breakfast drive back to Nairobi with lunch at narok, short
city tour of Nairobi, early dinner then fly home. |
