1.1 Introduction

These terms and conditions govern the relationship between wild sound adventures and you, our client. These are the sole terms and conditions that will apply and by signing up for a wild sounds adventures trip, you accept to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1.2 3rd Party Suppliers

wild sounds adventures acts as a booking agent for hotels, airlines, ground transporters, boat operators, hot air balloon companies and other independent contractors providing accommodations, transportation, and other services that wild sound adventures subcontracts on behalf of its clients. Each of these companies is an independent company and is not subject to the control of wild sounds adventures. wild sounds adventures therefore will not be liable for any personal injury, property damage or loss which may occur as a result of using such subcontracted services however, wild sounds adventures will always endeavour to contract services of companies which in wild sound adventures discretion, deliver the contracted services in the appropriate quality while adhering to the laws of the land.
In the event that any supplier is unable to provide contracted services for whatever reason, wild sounds adventures will Endeavour to offer you alternative arrangements of similar classification whenever possible. Should you not be willing to take the alternative arrangements offered by wild sounds adventures, any refunds to which you may be entitled will be subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant supplier.

2.1 Payment Terms

‘The booking’ refers to part or all of the travel arrangements for transportation, accommodation, flights, sightseeing excursions, meals, entertainment and other linked services made on behalf of the client, some of which may be subcontracted from other independent suppliers. A binding contract between you, the client and wild sounds adventures comes into existence when we receive your booking request and a deposit payment for the booking.
A deposit of 33% of the total booking value is required in order to confirm part or all of the booking. Certain suppliers impose more stringent payment policies. Should your program include services of such suppliers, wild sounds adventures will advise you at the time of booking if your booking will require some additional deposit payments.
The balance is payable 60 days before the date of the first service by wild sounds adventures. Should the client fail to remit payments in line with these set time frames, wild sound adventures reserves the right to treat the booking as canceled and thereby apply any resultant penalties.

2.2 Cancellations By Client

Cancellations of part or all of a booking must be received by wild sounds adventures in writing at least 61 days before the service date. Cancellations received less than 61 days before the service date will incur the following penalties:
Between 60 and 35 days - 10% of the total booking value
Between 34 and 25 days - 25% of the total booking value
Between 24 and 14 days - 50% of the total booking value
Between 13 and 0 days - 100% booking value
We strongly advise all clients to take out comprehensive travel insurance covering them for damage or loss of luggage, personal effects and cover for personal accident, medical and emergency travel expenses, cancellation and curtailment of travel arrangements. All bookings are subject to cancellation penalties as detailed above.

2.3 Cancellations or Changes by us

wild sound adventures reserves the right to discontinue and summarily cancel any booking in respect of which payment has fallen in arrears. In the event of this right being exercised, relevant cancellation penalties will be payable by the client or deducted from any deposit payments already made.
Note: wild sounds adventure is committed to maintaining a close and mutually beneficial relationship with all its clients. We realize that the satisfaction of our clients is our greatest asset. Our morals therefore are guided by a high level of professionalism, honesty and Integrity. From the time you send us your first inquiry, you will be served by a dedicated consultant till the time you return home. Your travel arrangements will be reviewed every so often in order to eliminate chances of errors and omissions. In the unlikely event that wild sounds adventures has to cancel, amend or curtail your travel arrangements due to our negligence, our failure to exercise care in making the arrangements for you and /or breach of our contractual agreement, we will take liability.

Note: We reserve the right to withdraw any tour announced on this website or on any of our publications and to make such alterations to the itineraries as may be deemed desirable for the proper carrying out of the tours. In the event it becomes necessary in wild sounds adventures discretion to alter the arrangements or itineraries for the clients’ comfort or welfare for any reason whatsoever, such alterations may be made without penalty to wild sounds adventures. Additional expenses if any shall be borne by the client. Wild sounds adventures reserves the right to decline, to accept or retain any person as a member of any group participating in wild sound adventures tour at any time. If in the reasonable opinion of a person in authority such as our Safari guide, a member of our management team, a pilot or captain, a client is not fit to travel or is likely to disturb or harm other members of a tour, wild sound adventures reserves the right to discontinue such a client from the tour. In such a case, no refund will be paid to the client for any lost accommodations or services and the cost of other or extra accommodations or travel arrangements will be the client’s responsibility.

2.4 Force Majeure

"Force Majeure" means any circumstances where the execution of contractual services is prevented or affected by factors beyond the reasonable control of wild sounds adventures, including, but not limited to acts of God, war and threat of war, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural disasters such as weather conditions, earthquakes, volcano eruptions, fire, governmental actions and other unexpected occurrences. In these circumstances, we shall not be liable to pay any compensation or otherwise be responsible for any expenses or losses the client may incur where we are forced as a result to cancel, delay, curtail or change the clients’ arrangements in any way or where the performance or prompt performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected.

3.1 Travel Documents

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that their passport, visa, health certificates, inoculations, or other documentation required for the trip are obtained and are in order. Should wild sounds adventures incur any costs as a result of failure by the client to fulfill this responsibility; such costs shall be recovered from the client.

3.2 Special Requests & Important Information

The client must either directly or through their travel agent, advise wild sounds adventures in writing of any special requests or important information about themselves such as diet, physical disability and any need for special treatment or handling at the time of booking.

4. Indemnity

All clients booked on any of our Adventure holidays will be required to sign our indemnity forms before the commencement of the tour.
